I need advice, please.

My mind has been running circles trying to figure this out.

I’ve never gone to a convention, never tried to meet a celebrity I’m a fan of. I’ve thought about it, but every time I get close to booking a trip to go to a convention or something I get freaked out and cancel.

The problem is that I start thinking I’m a creep for wanting to go see the people I’m fans of…. Is it creepy to be a fan? Do the celebrities think fans are creeps??? ARE we creeps? They’re celebrities… they have to have FANS to be celebrities, right? So do they appreciate the fans for making them famous?

I just want to show my adoration without being weird. I try to support the franchise when I can by buying the movies/shows/etc. But would it be creepy to go to a convention?

Is all of this beside the point anyway since all the fans run together and we all look the same and consequently act the same also. Meaning that they wouldn’t notice or care if one more person was there for an autograph or not.

Am I making any sense?

And it isn’t just going to conventions I’m concerned about.

I’m also worried about following their twitters. Is it creepy to do the @<insert celebrity> thing?

Do they even read it? Am I once again just another face in the crowd so it won’t matter anyway?

If anyone has any advice on the matter or input or has had any situations with celebrities I would like to hear about it.

Please reblog to get this around so more people can answer.. thanks guys.
