I just love how everyone who worked on DS9 seems to hate Gul Dukat and think him utterly irredeemable. Then there is Marc Alaimo, sitting alone at his ‘Gul Dukat was the handsomest of devils, change my mind’ table. 

Everyone Else: Gul Dukat was Space Hitler!

Marc Alaimo: Maybe so, but was he not the most intriguing and romantic of lizards?

Andy: If you ever wanna get Marc pissed off, ask him about why he was SUCH a villain in the show and he will go apopleptic on you!

I have a strong suspicion that the only time when Marc is REALLY going apoplectic after this question is when Andy asks it, using that unmistakably Garak-like voice and intonation.

I can’t say that I don’t admire the man for sticking to his guns, even if he looks to be quite incorrect. Still, I would love to see Andy and Jeff go into sweet, alien sass mode and get him ranting.
