[I vaguely remembered Keiko O'Brien as the “shrewish wife” stereotype, but rewatching the first couple seasons, she’s not at all! Her complaints about not having a place at the station are perfectly reasonable, and she solves it by becoming a kickass schoolteacher. Her hints that Miles MUST be cheating with his new coworker are a joke - not a “shit-test” or whatever some misogynosphere blogger would call it, but an affectionate JOKE. The O'Briens just prove to be mutually loving at every turn!]
