they want to make a section 31 series with michelle yeoh and idk i have enough of the dark sci fi shows okay? section 31 has always been a bad idea from the 90s and it’s almost a confession that the federation is not even in full charge or just a perfect illusion it kinda ruins the “utopia”
section 31 sucks, makes bad decisions and the members are basically some clowns playing spies in the shadows the federation is powerful and scary enough to take care of any threat including internal threats they don’t need a dark secret organization for that we’re talking about the same empire that shaped Kirk, Sisko, Janeway, Burnham etc. characters with a strong will and fiercest defenders of an already perfect and efficient system section 31 sounds like a joke frankly
