It is considered incredibly uncouth to show up unannounced at someone’s home on Cardassia. This custom has arisen from the fact that they need to have notice that you are coming over in order to have hot water prepared and waiting for your arrival.
Also, Cardassians are planners. They don’t like surprises.

Game companies are spending less money and giving you an inferior product *and not charging less*
They are not paying aritsts anynore, but they are pocketing the saving and not reducing the cost to consumers.
So if you don't want to b boycott over artists being screwed, boycott over you being screwed.
