Younger generations failing to pick up where parents left off when it comes to charitable giving

Many charitable organizations are coming up with strategies to attract new supporters as they see their donor base aging and a younger generation that appears to not have embraced charitable giving to the same extent as their parents and grandparents.

They probably didn’t even look at crowdfunding considering it’s talking about organizations.

We’re busy donating to our friends GoFundMe so they can get medical treatment and not die

Some of the largest and most visible charities are also terribly unethical and up to their armpits in sleazy shit, and because we have internet access, we know that.

Susan G Komen.  Salvation Army.  Even Goodwill has a reputation for massively mistreating its employees.

We give where we believe it will do the most good.

My charitable donation for the month is probably going to be like $10 to help a friend of a friend of a friend’s dad keep his house. I almost never donate to a traditional charity.
