I’ve rewatched the ad at least three times to try and figure out why some folks are angry with it and I’m at a loss. All I see here is: Be a better human. Set a better example. Encouraging strength of character and integrity over typical “machismo”.
“How dare you suggest that men who behave badly should change their attitude and be better, you buncha SJW?”
Gillette: There is no excuse for men not to behave like decent human beings and it’s important to be a good person both for yourself and to set a good example for future generations

Newsflash
Any man who looks at this and thinks this advert is an “Attack on men” is 100% definitely a piece of shit…because literally the only things it is saying is that men shouldn’t bully, insult, sexually harass or generally be shitty to other people or ignore it when they see others doing it… and the only men who’d have an issue with an ad saying that was bad are the people who do all of the above
It’s rather telling, isn’t it?
And honestly kind of pathetic especially the person who thinks that the people who made this ad should be “Fired”…for what, saying misogyny and being horrible to people are BAD?
Based on the reactions I saw to this ad prior to watching, I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this completely reasonable attempt at dialogue from the company. Well done, them!
I truly do not understand why so many people are losing their minds over it. Well, I mean, I guess I do understand why, but it’s just so upsetting.
