Oh god I had a coworker at the time who called Voyager “Deep Space Mom.” He turned out to be the most sexist, sexually harassing POS I have ever worked with. Shitting on Voyager was, in retrospect, a huge red flag.
If Janeway was a man, no one would ever doubt her. She was also the one most similar to Kirk in the taking chances to save your crew way, not the other way.

Here's why you should still boycott.
Game companies are spending less money and giving you an inferior product *and not charging less*
They are not paying aritsts anynore, but they are pocketing the saving and not reducing the cost to consumers.
So if you don't want to b boycott over artists being screwed, boycott over you being screwed.
