I’d love to read your dissertation proposal!
I have to find a way to get it off of my old computer that died. I know it can be done, I just don’t know how.
But a quick summary:
I was looking at the relationship between female copulatory vocalization and orgasm intensity. The hypothesis was that women who were louder and more vocal during sex experienced more intense, pleasurable orgasms. I designed a two part correlational study that began with a survey of sexual habits. Participants who scored within a certain range would be asked to participate in the second half of the study, in which we would measure the dilation of the blood vessels inside the vaginal tissue (to indicate increased blood flow, levels of arousal, and intensified sensation), as well as record any vocalizations and corresponding volume.
Haha, I guess it would help to note that these measurements would be taken during masturbation. Not like, just sitting around doing a non-arousing activity.
