I’ve been meaning to do some DS9 portraits for years. I tend to get quite reflective when arting and when DS9 aired I was having a tough time in high school due to bullying.

Dax helped me get through it. I was only 13 at the time. We had such an awesome selection of role models in the 90’s. It was a time where women as a gender were coming into their own. I even named my Hamster Dax 😊

Star Trek has always been there for me and so many other people. Where would we be without it 💛
