What do you think of discovery (if anything)?
I watched the first 3-4 episodes and I didn’t like it. There were a lot of concepts that were just not working for me, which I won’t get into here. Suffice it to say, I think that there’s a time and a place for programming to be gritty, but being edgy just for the sake of being edgy is not something that appeals to me or has a lot of artistic merit, in my opinion (especially when it comes to Star Trek).
That being said, I don’t care if other people like Discovery. To each their own. IDIC and all that. ;)
