I recently read one of the Star Trek: Terok Nor novels and while I don’t really agree with the authors’ interpretation of much of anything, particularly Cardassian society and characters, I will say one thing. They got Damar’s xenophobia spot on.
There is one scene where Dukat is urging him to “enjoy” some of the Bajoran comfort women that he had brought to the station and Damar is basically like, “I’m out. Nope. No, I wouldn’t fuck one of them with a Ferengi’s dick.”
And I just find that absolutely hilarious. Not everyone shares Dukat’s predilection for raping Bajoran slaves, yo.
I still think this is funny.
