As I haven’t seen the documentary about DS9 yet, I’ve read every article and itw I could and there are a LOT of talks about Garak being gay (or not…)
At first I was a bit annoyed but I must say now I’m almost angry…
Hear me rant…
No one talks about Julian possibly being bi, he is main cast and still nothing…
And that makes me mad because it feels like bi are erased, worse are transparent… Nobody cares…
There is very few representation on TV or litterarure and in ST at best it’s a mirror universe trope.
Even the new ST show Discovery treats it as a joke while they are supposed to be the progressive ones… (“don’t be so binary”).
So if there’s only one text online saying Julian is bi and it matters, let it be this post…
