Hey, I noticed in your tags you called Julian bi and Garak pan. I'm bi myself, and I've always thought of the two as interchangeable. I know there's a distinction between the two for some people; what do you consider to be the difference between them?

To be perfectly honest, I don’t make a big distinction between the two in real life.  With aliens, it’s a little different.

In my opinion, I think the biggest thing about bi/pan is how an individual chooses to identify and what makes them feel the most comfortable with themselves. For me, pan wasn’t really a thing when I came out.  I’ve always been bi and it’s a part of who I am.  I consider bisexuality inclusive of trans and others, so it’s not really about a gender binary.  It’s just the term that feels right for me.
