asdkfga;jgh;flkgajf THANK YOU SO MUCH! I’m assuming you’re referring to the latest Leatherface pic, which I’m trying REALLY HARD on with the anatomy, coloring and eventual background. I’ve always struggled with backgrounds and coloring and they feel like especially weak spots in my art. Perspective is tricky for me, as is color theory and experimenting with colors (and that’s not even counting light sources/shading, oh my god) and I feel like I always kinda “play it safe” for the most part.  But I *am* trying to improve, and I’m also trying to improve on anatomy and making myself use references a little more rather than just winging it out of my head like usual. Not that there’s anything wrong with going from your memory/imagination, but it does feel like if one wants to improve at anatomy and stuff like foreshortening/light/shadows/etc. then it’s good to take the time to look stuff up. The problem is having such limited time to draw makes me want to just crank out what I want as fast as I can without taking the time to do like, eye or hand studies, even though in the long run it would be beneficial. God, I would spend SO much time drawing if we had Universal Basic Income.  D:
But for all my struggles I’m really glad to hear that at least one person out there thinks I’m not half-bad at it, LOL!  Thank you, friend, you made my day!  :D

Dude, I’ve been a fan of your work since probably like 2002 and while I can safely say you’ve ALWAYS been naturally talented, I can see the progress you’ve made over the years and it’s incredible.  It’s especially apparent with the new Leatherface WIP - those colors and blending! Wow! - and the Lock/Shock drawing with all those unbelievable textures.

You’re a remarkable artist and I can only imagine what you could do if given more time.  I understand though, I always say I’m going to draw after work and then I get home and it’s like “Haha, just kidding!  I’m pooped!”

I hope you never stop creating because you have such a gift.
