just finished a stitch in time and i have a lot of thoughts

@ladyvean ogh fuck ok disclaimer i finished the book at work in the morning so i had a lot of time to process it but also i feel like maybe i read it so fast that i didnt always process all of it
after reading i typed up some impressions though so here are those:
an amazing meditation on garak, on cardassia, on deep space nine, and his perspective on events
incredibly incorporates every period of his life up until a hopeful end point that suggests promise for cardassias future
always thought that garak was the cardassian that truly encapsulates the idea of who cardassians are
book touched on his relationship with julian, somewhat with odo, and somewhat with quark, with mentions of his caring about jadzia
very good presence to most of the original characters- notably pythas and parmak
very entertaining mockery of dukat
was just really really good
overall 100% recommend and if anyone wants i do have the pdf version (it can be a little more expensive to buy from what i understand, and generally harder to find at used book sales)
