To define a stream,
    you define its depth.
As you raise another glass,
    I wonder,
will kanar be
the metric of your depth,
how many bottles
join the rushing disquiet
under your skin?
It is not a good measure of
    depth to use
when the live current of intellect
runs through your deep blue eyes,
ready to drown
those who underestimate
    its/your
        depth.
