so here are the details about this. most people get the simple dude to look like them self or someone they think is neat (like their brother, or BFF or sweetheart, or their pharmacist, or a parent) as gifts.
yeah, that’s great, but you’ve said this exact thing like a million times and folks still don’t know what you mean by that.

But that’s the finished dude. I want a different looking one. Are there different skin colors? Different Hair colors? Different shirt colors? And what about style? This dude’s got none. Well that’s a bit rude, but yeah, there are different options or the outfit/shirt, like sleeve length, color, glitter, and whatever. I’ll make a post for that too.

oh hey, I’ve got like 50 different colors of felt. give or take. (seriously, I just counted 30 different colors that were sitting on my desk within arms reach because i”m just too tired for a serious inventory.
About Sizing: Most puppets will fit comfortably on an adult sized finger. I use my own fingers as an outline when making each dude, and I’m approximately a ring size 9. Each finger puppet is made specific for every customer. If you have larger or smaller fingers that that (or if you’re getting one made for a kid) let me know. If you get your puppet and it’s too big or too small you can send it back and I will make the alterations and send it back for free.
okay well it’s pretty, you know, simple. you tell me what you want, I do a sketch estimate. Then I show you the sketch and say, “here’s how much this will cost.” and you either say, “cool. let’s do it.” or “nah, that’s not what I had in mind. I wanted X instead of Y.” and I’ll give you another sketch, and we’ll work it out. (sketches are free, so it’s cool. I want you to get what you want.)

Maybe it’s an original character that you draw a thousand times and say, “oh yeah, I’m totally going to write their story one day, and what a story it will be!” but you still haven’t written much about them (don’t worry, I know you will, just take your time. your story will come to you when it feels like it (don’t ask me when, I’m still working that))
“Hey, my name is Jack, and I wanted to get a dude made to look like my brother (because his birthday is coming up and I think he’d appreciate it. He’s a man of great taste). Anyway. My brother is a white dude with short brown hair, blue eyes, and dorky glasses. I think his favorite color is blue/green. You do great work, and I’m really excited about ordering this from you and giving it to my brother, who will absolutely love it.”

or maybe you want to get one for you and your BFF Jill, and then you trade, so you have a tiny Jill puppet, and Jill has a tiny you puppet! I’ll probably offer a BFF discount, like congratulations on having a friend, you’re both so awesome. I can’t imagine what it would be like to have a friend like that! I can’t remember what having a BFF feels like, so you know, kudos to you.
or maybe you’ve got a boyfriend (again, congrats and kudos to both of you) and you get one of him, and he gets one of you, and you love your miniature BF almost as much as you love your real BF, he keeps his you with him, and you keep your him with you, like in your pocket, or at your job (wow, a job, a boyfriend, and a best friend. You are one lucky person. This really is the thing to get someone who has everything!).
I’ll give you a sketch, and you’ll love it and be like, “yes, absolutely, you’re like a mind reader! That’s exactly what I wanted! I can’t wait to refer all of my friends over to you so they can get one too!” and I’ll say something like “thanks, friend! Positive feedback is always something I enjoy hearing. Anyway, I can have it shipped off to you in about a week”
