okay this is going to become a thread of weird shit from voyager ive forgotten because im rewatching for the first time in a few years
harry: i remember being in my mothers womb
episode where the aliens thought voyager was sexy is always a classic
neelix and tom were weird jealous idiots concerning kes until they saved an alien baby on the surface of a poison planet and became besties
somehow both neelix and tuvok have experience breeding orchids despite being from different corners of the galaxy implying that not only bipedal humanoids but also orchids are universal constants
almost done with season two and god this season does not ever stop or slow down
highlights include:
- threshold of course but we all know about this so i wont even go into it
- literally everything to do with seska and the kazon- completely forgot about the baby
- the doctor falls in love with a sick vidiian he put into a hologram to save her
- neelix gets into journalism for exactly one episode
- tuvok is fully ready to adopt some kids because hes a great dad but it turns out they age backwards and are actively elderly (if tuvok had gotten to mentor one of the borg kids later on that would have been so cute)
- people were mentioning this in the replies and i was like ???? but yeah harry and naomi died and the characters from then on are exact duplicates from a self-destructed version of voyager that sacrificed itself to save a version of voyager
- janeway literally kills fear

- completely forgot not only that seska did that to chakotay (yikes) but also that the kazon took control of voyager and suder fucking died helping retake the ship
- the doctor lost his memories ??? then they were like ohoho he can still hum opera under his breath…. there is hope yet which is BULLSHIT this man lost two full years of his memory ??????? what the fuck
- i vividly remembered the ferengi episode but it deserves a mention
- okay now getting into futures end it was like very good
- chakotay and b’elanna get taken by some anti-gov white supremacist militia guys and honestly it was good that the writers included not only the good (rain) the zany (all the los angeles outfits and tuvoks joke that they would have fit in in uniform) but also the ugly side of the “past” which from the audiences perspective was the present. fucked up that chakotay and b’elanna had to deal with that shit though but at least the writers were following star trek tradition and being upfront about the world
- right along these lines was that the bad guy was literally a greedy capitalist a la certain present day politicians
- also janeway casually dropped that in 2047 los angeles goes underwater and becomes a coral reef because of an earthquake. like in the future los angeles is just gone which is so sad
accidentally went a whole season without adding because im a fool and im in too deep (this goes through 4x14)
- the episode where kes gets possessed and jennifer lien fully goes off
- q wants a baby (and is creepy)
- the ‘harry falls in love with a hologram’ episode ends with a very sweet friendship built between harry and tuvok
- everything about ‘blood fever’ but especially the holodeck cure for pon farr which works at least 50% of the time
- tom and kes getting married and having a daughter who harry marries in an alternate future
- the doctors super intense holographic family simulation which is never discussed again

- honestly the maquis insurrection holodeck fanfic episode was so fun
- i miss kes but i love seven
- year of hell was iconic as always but id forgotten that tuvok got blinded and became very good friends with seven
- da vinci set loose on a planet
- neelix fucking DIES and experiences a very understandable existential crisis

alright its accidentally been a month and almost two seasons but here we go anyway (through 6x8 and season 5 is one of my faves so this might get long)
- the 8472 that they rescued from the hirogen
- subsequent hirogen two parter which was so so good
- literally everything about the omega directive. so wild but kinda cool plus we always love seven going halfway rogue
- the emh backup module brought back 700 years later aka the pseudo mirrorverse ep (because it shows “dark” versions of the characters in that planets warped history)
- all the shit with the demon class planet ??? including later its revealed that there was a whole duplicate of voyager ?????? what the fuck
- the one where only the doctor and seven are conscious for like a month (reminded me of that one enterprise episode, probably where it was inspired. very good and spooky)
- b’elanna depression episode which i thought was really good
- “its pon farr night at the vulcan club”
- i LOVE naomi wildman so so much
- failed slipstream and old alt versions of harry and chakotay have to bring voyager back. basically i love harry kim so much
- appearance of an evil cardassian doctor as a hologram with accompanying moral debate
- tom paris gets demoted for trying to save the ocean
- okay this one was really wild. the one where the doctor finds out theyd ERASED HIS MEMORY of a morally questionable choice hed made
- bride of chaotica. need i say more
- tuvok falls in love
- FAKE wormhole is actually a BIG ALIEN MONSTER
