17. Favourite series?
Oh man, this is so rough, but I think I have to go with Voyager. I grew up with Next Gen. When DS9 came on, I watched a few episodes and thought the acting was shit, so I didn’t watch it for a long, long time. Voyager was on when I was a teenager and it will always hold a special place in my heart for a lot of reasons, not least of all for having an incredible captain who happened to be one of the most badass women of all time, but also because it allowed me to escape from a toxic homelife and go on the journey with the crew. It was family to me.
So, as much as I love some of the recurring side characters on DS9 and as much as I love the story arcs and as much as I love my space lizards, Voyager will always edge DS9 out as my favorite series.
(As a general rule, I think when it comes to the caliber of acting among the main casts, Voyager wins hands down - Armin Shimerman being the notable exception among the Niners.)
