Garak talking to himself as he has a panic attack is highkey relatable.
I fucking love this scene specifically because of what Garak SAYS. He’s talking about everyone else as his friends and there’s NO ONE LISTENING there’s no reason for him to lie. Garak is being sincere, because he has no one to perform for! And Garak’s sincere emotion is, essentially, you’ll be okay, Julian is just a few feet away.

This is also why I believe in that scene he was speaking truthfully about the source of his claustrophobia, and not that being locked in a closet line he later told Ezri.
