Reblogging this again because I JUST thought, when did Janeway find out this info? Like, I really hope she found the date like a MONTH after Tuvok’s previous birthday and was like DAMMIT and then she had to sit on it for almost a whole year to keep the surprise. And every time she and Tuvok hung out she was like “I KNOW A SECRET” and he was like “good for you” and wouldn’t rise to the bait. And in the last couple of weeks before the big day she’s sitting on the bridge and she keeps internally squeeing whenever she sees Tuvok because she knows it’s going to be SO GOOD and she CAN’T WAIT and she’s like whispering to herself “KEEP IT TOGETHER KATHRYN YOU MADE IT THIS FAR”
