Henry Update Part Two
I transferred Henry from the veterinary hospital where they surgery was performed to the emergency clinic for continued post-operative observation and treatment. Barring any complications, I can pick him up in the morning and take him back to the surgeon for an assessment.
Now we play the waiting game. We’re doing biopsies on his spleen, pancreas, liver, and the fluid aspirated from his adrenal glands. There’s a concern that it could be lymphoma, which is essentially a death sentence and I don’t even want to put that out there into the Universe - please just hope/pray/send good thoughts that it is NOT.
The additional bad news is that we are doing four biopsies instead of one, which is going to make the bill go WAY up.
Thanks, my friends. I’ll keep you posted.
