lost quark b-plots:
- quark tries to impress a famously impossible to please restaurant critic (played by some woefully miscast 90s tv icon a la the time jason alexander was on voyager, or possibly just jeffrey combs again)
- quark invests in a purely hypothetical alien currency. rejected for being too implausible but actually predicted bitcoin with chilling accuracy
- quark is picked up for information on the orion syndicate by a grizzled Space Cop who he’s kind of convinced is just odo doing a really abstract bit. this one is actually epic enough to be a two-parter
