Here’s the scene in its entirety, so that y’all can get the feel of the tone, and see Damar’s reaction after the fact. I love it, it’s one of my favorite scenes in television. From Damar’s anger, but the acceptance that Kira is right twinkling behind his eyes, to Kira’s realization that what she just did was cruel, to Garak’s recognition that sometimes that kind of harshness and cruelty can be a possitive force. It gives me chills every time I rewatch it.
