really like how the plot of reani 1 and 2 (i haven't seen beyond so i can't say for sure) is just that herbert should be the main bad guy but much more morally disgusting people keep on getting in his way of truly being the bad guy so he just straight up murders them

They are not paying aritsts anynore, but they are pocketing the saving and not reducing the cost to consumers.
