One of my New Years resolutions is to do more original art. I love doin’ fan art for sure and definitely won’t be stopping, but I’ve really neglected other projects for a long time. Such as these carousel animals, featuring more non-traditional critters.
Finished the Malayan Tapir, Black Rhinoceros and Mountain Goat, and hopefully I’ll get this Bactrian Camel done. There are SO MANY more cool ungulates I’d love to include... Hirola, okapi, vicuña, gerenuk, Jamnapuri goat, hippo, cow, topi, bongo, Japanese Serow.... it goes on and on. They all feature the flag of part of the region of their territories, as well as plants and birds/small animals as well. They’re fun, and a change of pace. We’ll see how it goes!
