I feel like I just keep saying this over and over, but the rich aren't your friends or allies. They'll turn on you in an instant to preserve their massive horde of cash.
To a billionaire someone that wants to tax them is the same (or worse) kind of "intolerant" as a racist, misogynistic, homophobic/transphobic, ableist, corrupt, POS like Trump.
You see it from rich assholes Democratic Donors that loudly and publicly talk about how they would throw millions of dollars behind Trump's campaign if Warren or Sanders was nominated to more weasely responses like you get from Gates.
When these people talk about being "open minded" they don't mean having people be open to allowing socially marginalized groups to be accepted, they mean having people be open to the wants of billionaires and allow them to buy influence.
