I just read an article linked from Twitter on movies where the author is not quite 30 years old and complaining about current movie offerings, and thinking about what they want to consume during their imminent “twilight years”. Um, you think your 30’s are “twilight years”? Unless you plan on dying by age 40, gtfo with that. The world doesn’t end after 30, and this reminds me of why I hate so much of social media and how so many 20-years-and-younger people think. I’m not quite 40, and if I’m lucky that means I’m only halfway done. Yes, aging is weird and sometimes frustrating, but that’s life. Obsession with youth is harmful.
