I was tagged by @discordantwords to share the first line from one of my WIPs. Thank you for tagging me!

This is from a fic I’ve been sitting on for a couple of years. It was originally for the Spook Me challenge over at DW and that’s long over, but I still hope to finish this one.

…I have several WIPs but now I’m gonna go find the one with the weirdest opening line.

The kingdom of Camelot liked normality.

That was my favorite, bc I go on to explain that normality tends to avoid Camelot like the plague. Anyway, that Merlin fic doesn’t even have a name yet! But @candicewright this is the one with Berserker!Percival.

I have many WIPs but none of them have interesting first lines. Have the one from my Greatest Showman AU that I hope I’ll finish at some point.

“Morgana! Wait! Don’t go!” Arthur screamed at the carriage that was already disappearing past the gates of the manor.

I really should get back to writing this, but I’m focusing on the Glompfest fic + ACBB so you know…

“What’s taking so long?”

This fic! This fic is what’s taking so long. I wish it would stop fighting me. I am not entirely sure who has WIPS they want to share, and shall tag @rainandscarves @iocane7 @merlioske @ladyvean and @littleredchucks (if you want to) and anyone else who thinks this could be fun.

Man, I haven’t even started writing it down yet, but the first sentence is about how the air from an environmental filter in a Cardassian hospital sounds and feels.
