I live in an off campus apartment not far from my uni and all classes have been moved online and I had to have a half hour discussion with my roommate about how she CANNOT host her group projects in our living space. I told her the absolute most she can do is have them on our porch for one meeting to sort everything out but to try going elsewhere or just do it ONLINE but she kept complaining that it would be too difficult to go online. This woman is going to medical school next year.

Damn, Anon.  That must be a very frustrating situation for you.  I suggest you pull recommendations re: physical / “social” distancing, virus communicability, and the long term impact of novel diseases from the CDC to show her.  If she doesn’t already understand the gravity of the current pandemic, I question her ability to actually get accepted into or otherwise complete medical school, but stranger things have happened.  Please do everything you can to protect yourself and the community (sounds like you already are, of course), and good luck navigating your roommate situation!
