I used to think this shit when I moved across the country and none of my friend texted me for a while. I would think “God, don’t they know how hard this is for me?!” Until one day I reached out and turns out a lot of them had been going through big shit of their own and I realized that we’re all adults and we all have lives that come with challenges and issues and sometimes, no matter how much we love our friends, we don’t have the capacity to take on their problems too.
