i really like stickers but at the same time i don’t because once you stick them somewhere that’s it, it’s finished, and i’m just not emotionally stable enough for that responsibility
I have been waiting for this post my whole life.
I was trying to explain this to someone one day and they basically told me I was crazy.
The Scholastic Publishing Company has at least one full, complete set of every sheet of stickers they’ve ever published. They’re kept in on-site and off-site archives, for reasons that include preservation, tracking educational and art trends in the publishing industry, and copyright tracking. So next time you worry about stickers, remember: somewhere, deep in a filing cabinet at the back of an archive, there’s a complete set of those stickers that’s always going to be kept unused and safe.
So stick those stickers. Because there’s a set of stickers out there that won’t be finished, that’ll always be ready - which means the ones you’ve got can be used just fine.
