Symbol design for Cardassia City’s fire department. The Cardassian co-lang didn’t have a word for fire, so it’s “Amber-Platoon.”

I also made a symbol for civilian medics/paramedics (it reads “life-guardian”). I ended up going down a rabbit hole learning about lizard hearts. Did you know that all reptiles except for crocodiles have 3 chambered hearts? They still have P, R, S and T waves (not much of a Q wave). I spent half an hour reading different scientific articles and looking at ECG results of various reptiles. Also, reptiles heart rates increase based on temperature.
