What started your love of Casey Biggs? Was it Damar?
Well, yes and no. I had finished DS9 and thought Damar had a nice arc, but I was certainly more focused on Garak… But then I went to my first real convention. Casey was on stage with Andy and some of the others on the last day and I was so taken with the way he spoke about the art of acting. When I met him briefly after the Rat Pack that evening and shook his hand (what a presence he has!), I realized he was something special and went back to rewatch some of the Damar episodes. I was hooked. Now I’ve seen almost his entire filmography and I think it’s such a shame that he has so few fans because he truly is one of the most gifted actors I’ve seen. I just regret that I haven’t been able to see any of his stage work. He did a play this past winter (Love Letters, for those of you who are interested), but I didn’t have the funds available to go see it. :(
