How do you suppose Dukat was remembered on Cardassia after the Dominion War? I mean, the whole thing was basically his fault, but it’s pretty clear that joining the Dominion was a popular decision when he made it and it’s pretty clear that even Damar never stopped thinking of his old boss as a hero and a great man even while he was leading the rebellion against his legacy.
Basically, what I’m asking is: do you suppose that there are statues of Dukat on Cardassia?
