I love that in every interview he’s ever done, Andrew Robinson is adamant about discussing Garak and Bashir’s relationship. He’s so straightforward about it, he wants everyone to know that Garak was just so incredibly gay for Bashir. From moment one. They are gay for each other. He purposely played Garak as a man who is attracted to Julian. That was his intention all along. He wanted their relationship to be openly gay. Elim Garak is Gay™️ and that is the hill that Andrew Robinson will die on and I respect the hell out of that.
I mean, I would argue that Andy always refers to Garak as being indiscriminate and fluid, so more pan than gay, but for the purposes of this post fuck yeah.
