• Julian is perpetually cold, so when he finds out how warm Garak keeps his quarters (because lizard) he finds every excuse to spend time in them. It’s just coincidence that he gets to spend time with Garak too.
• Garak likes cooking and he always has food ready for Julian when he gets off work. He works through every single cardassian dish he can think of. When Julian has time off work he insists on making human dishes for Garak.
• Garak is at first very put off by Kukalaka but eventually starts to sleep with him in his bed when Julian is away on missions.
• When Julian tells Garak about Section 31, Garak isn’t happy about it at all and a few weeks later some data that should not have been released is mysteriously released to the public. Section 31 can’t do anything about it without revealing themselves but they never bother Julian again.
• Secretly both of them love when they get to sit in Garak’s quarters and read together. They start a tradition of picking a book and reading out-loud to each other every evening.
