Samantha Wildman was a xenobiologist assigned to Voyager when it was lost in the Delta Quadrant. Married to a Ktarian, Wildman became pregnant just before leaving Deep Space 9 and ultimately, though inadvertently, Federation space. Wildman’s daughter was born on Voyager and raised on the ship for the first six years of her life. Voyager was a difficult environment in which to raise a child, but Wildman persevered, building a small community around her daughter.
