Tbh Dukats plot in DS9 suffers from "boxtrolls syndrome", where there is absolutely a correct moral stance (dukat is in fact bad and did "do things wrong"/the boxtrolls deserve respect as living persons) but the writers lean on moral discourse completely outside what they personally wrote or are showing you . Like the correct argument isnt found in the show itself

Game companies are spending less money and giving you an inferior product *and not charging less*
They are not paying aritsts anynore, but they are pocketing the saving and not reducing the cost to consumers.
So if you don't want to b boycott over artists being screwed, boycott over you being screwed.
