It’s a shame how underrated Tuvok is. I swear it’s hard to come around content about him and he’s so awesome. I love him so much.

This was an issue even when VOY was in production. Tuvok was supposed to be Spock to Janeway’s Kirk. One of the “Big Three.” He ended up being the least-used character not named Neelix. He really suffered from the addition of Seven of Nine; she ended up getting lot of the Spock-like lines he used to get.
Some fans complained about this back when VOY was in production, to the point that Tim Russ was sometimes asked about his screen time. His usual reply was, “I have enough.” (Tim was always a class act.)
