I wouldn’t really say these are kilts. They’re just pretty ugly skirts with what looks like clip-on cargo pockets.
Just because a guy wears a skirt doesn’t automatically make it a kilt.
Before someone inevitably gives me a big long explanation about the difference between a kilt and a skirt - if you wear that anywhere in Scotland, it’s not getting called a kilt.
Here’s what real men in kilts look like.
the kilts (I get it they’re not real Scottish kilts but bear with me) that the assholes in the pic are wearing are from Verillas! they’re an LGBT+ owned company who not only do kilts but all sorts of really neat medieval/gothic/post-apocalyptic inspired clothes
earlier today they posted about noticing that their kilts were being worn by those unsavory characters and calculated the cost of the merch in the picture and donated that plus extra to the NAACP
they also have a really great line of pride kilts with gay, lesbian, bi, pan, and ace coloration!
