How is Vic Fontaine so chill. The guy is a sentient, self aware hologram. He knows he basically doesnt exist, that the whole place he lives in is a lie, that all his “friends” that aren’t from DS9 are basically NPC’s. Before Nog saw to it that is program remained on 24/24, he was an amusement slave only allowed to live through a song or a conversation with a member of the senior staff before being forced into unconsciousness again. How is he not in a constant state of existential dread !!!
