Sometimes Garak or Kelas will give her an elaborate up-do, but because of the way she was raised and sort of… devalued, for lack of a better word, Tain saw no need to teach her such things and Mila wasn’t exactly crazy about her, so she didn’t bother either.  The last name that Tain gave her upon taking her in was Kalces, which literally means ‘lesser person,’ so they weren’t really concerned with her learning a lot of social etiquette… which is probably related to why she dresses so scandalously too.

She does sometimes wear it in a loose bun or braid when she is working.
