01: Do you have a good relationship with your parents?

It’s complicated.  Both of my parents have had lifelong struggles with addiction, which resulted in abuse and traumatic situations for me.  And of course not all of the abuse was the result of addiction, nor is that an excuse for behavior that is truly inexcusable.  That being said, I still love them both deeply.  My father died in May…  As deeply flawed as my parents are and as difficult as my relationships with them have been, I know they tried.

55: Are you mean?

I can be, when the situation calls for it - and, regrettably, sometimes the situation does indeed call for it.  I work very hard at being kind as much as possible though.  Sometimes I fail.

59: Do you like the snow?

Oh, fuck no.  I could live forever and never see snow again and I would be fine with that.  Anything below 75, and I am a very unhappy lizard.  I much prefer the heat.
