(In case you can’t read my b*llshit:)
Meavidal (bolian): ’ You remember that Glinn, who called you a ‘bad citizen’ for running away with a bolian? I just descaled him for you! <3
Kilkam (cardassian): Oh state almighty, I can’t believe it! We are so much alike – I just turned your Nemesis into a handbag! <3
‘Dirty Talk’
Or is it?
Meet two of my OCs: The bolian Maevidal Vanta and her cardassian boyfriend Kilkam Soho.
They are dumb and in love. And they’re dangerous, but only for their lover’s enemies. For the simple reason, that they do not realise or care about the fact, that they could use their killing skills for their own foes just as well. So, the things they whisper to each other in their make out sessions are all based on true events.
Kilkam is showing affection in a bolian way – touching his lover’s neck, while they’re are lightly pressing their foreheads against each other, with closed eyes.
Maevidal on the other side knows exactly where her cardassian sweetheart likes to be touched.
According to the Trek novel Pathways (and Memory Alpha), Cardassians like to wear bolian skin.. which inspired Kilkam to turn Maevidal’s arch enemy into a handbag. And while a handbag made out of bolian skin might be highly fashionable on Cardassia, it’s also highly illegal on planets belonging to the federation. Especially, when you’re dumb enough to tell everyone, that you made it yourself. So, naturally, they end up in prison. (in seperate cells at first, until they trade sex with the guardian for the privilege of a shared double bed cell.)
They love to make love, with and without protection, though the latter always ends up with horrible inflammations for Kilkam, because bolian body fluids aren’t exactly healthy for most other species, including cardassians. But since both their learning curve is a horizontal, they do it time and time again.
To the pic:
It’s more of a sketch, I didn’t put that much effort into it. And for that, I’m pretty content, although there are dozens of things wrong (Who’s Anatomy? I don’t know her! Also Vulcans would hate the shadows in this image, because they aren’t logical. I drew shadows wherever I felt like it. What bothers me most is the size of his head. It’s too big.:[)
I ask you, where is the mini-series?
@loathsome-aesthete Oh goodness, thank you! Q.Q <3 Your comment and tags made me instantly happy! <3
They are part of a big story, that only exists in my head - I’ll probably never write it down, but I wanna try to draw all of my OCs at least once.
No problem, buddy! I love all the detail you’ve put into them, it was super fun to read. I know what you mean, though, about struggling to get your ocs and stories out of your head. Still, I would love to see any others you have whenever you get them out! :D
@ladyvean asked me, how Maevidal and Kilkam met and I thought, you might be interested in this part of their background as well, @wat-the-cur . That’s why I’m adding it here for you (and for potential lurkers :D) -
So, a bolian man with lots and lots of friends died and it’s time to read his last will. His friends (too many as they’d all know each other) come together in his house to grieve and to learn if they get a piece of his belongings. So, to make sure, that no one gets their hands on sth. that wasn’t meant for them, his closest friends (who organized the event) store his most valuable belongings in a closed safe room and hire ‘guards’, who pretend to be grieving friends just like everybody else there, but actually keep an eye on the safe room and on the guests. One of these guards is Maevidal.
Kilkam was some sort of low-budget hitman and burglar back then. If you need someone, who steals sth for you or you want somebody dead, but you don’t want to spend much money for the job – Kilkam is your man! There is a reason for the low price of course, and that reason is his questionable competence.
But naturally, he’’s popular among Ferengi. And one of them hires him to steal the most precious part from the bolian’s safe room (I haven’t decided what that part is yet, probably a piece of jewellery).
Kilkam mananged to deactivate the protective force field and to get into the safe room. Maevidal is the first one to notice, that there is sth wrong with the field, reactivates it and walks to the room for a check. That’s where they meet for the first time.
It’s not love at first sight (but almost), but she tells him, that he can’t be a burglar, because he’s too pretty for a job like that. He answers that he’s also a hitman (same technique as Garak, but with an answer, that just causes even more trouble for him), she starts laughing and he falls in love.
She says, that she can’t let him steal anything from the room, that would be bad for her reputation as a guard, but if he promises to keep away from the house from now on, she’ll let him go.
He asks, if this also means to stay away from her, because he’d hate to make a deal, that contains such a demand, and her answer is 'no’. So they make a deal and a date, then she deactivates the field long enough for him to climb out of the window.
Two days later: her job is done (she was only hired till the event ended), he’s busy getting out of the way of the Ferengi, who’s waiting for the stolen good. They have their date in a nightclub, and she discovers that she likes this idiot a lot. But honestly, she already had a feeling she’d like him on the evening they met for the first time, otherwise she wouldn’t have stolen the piece he was searching for, one day after.
There are some shenanigans going on after that, because they think they are clever, but obviously, they are not. Like, their first plan is, that Kilkam gives the stolen piece to the Ferengi, so he stays out of trouble (he was paid up front). But then they think „Maybe we should give the piece to the Ferengi, then catch the Ferengi and hand him over to the people, who organized the event! The Ferengi goes to jail (so Kilkam stays out of trouble) and since they’ll probably give us a reward for our help, we make extra cash!“
So that’s what they’re doing.
In the end, they both get almost arrested, because Kilkam forgot, that the Ferengi knows his real name and has a contract as evidence. And because not only guards kept an eye on the safe room, but also cameras. So the friends of the dead bolian knew, who stole the piece.
Good thing, they are not only handsome, but also very fast.
