Meet my 4 andorian OCs (from left to right) Telpha, Vuro, Rokiek and Tualeh!

Canon says, that „Andorian marriages require groups of four people“ (to quote Data from TNG, more or less accurately).

Beta Canon explains this with Andorians having 4 sexes: Thaan, Chan, Shen and Zhen. To conceive a child, all 4 of them have to come together. The complexity of the reproduction process is one (if not the main) reason for the population crisis the species faced around 2376. This caused  high social pressure, Andorians were expected to marry and have (at least) a child, before they start a career. Marriages were arranged at a young age.

Rokiek was one of my first 2 Trek OC’s (the other one being a betazoid named Sal Astrea) and since he’s living around the time of the population crisis, it seemed natural for this character to fullfill the social expectation of marrying and having a child before he reached the age of 20. So I made a whole squad.

As so often, I’m in the dilemma of having a lot to tell about these sweethearts and not wanting this post to become too long.

So I decided to make separate posts for every character, in which I tell you a bit more about them. In the Following, I’ll list the Links to the posts (as soon as I wrote them, lol):

Telpha (Telpha sh’Riwel)

Vuro (Vurossridris th’Ezrah)

Rokiek (Somchrokiek ch’Magnal)

Tualeh (Idvintualeh zh’Scara)

I love them all and I want to read the three part epic.
