Vuro
full name: Vurossridris th’Ezrah
sex: thaan
pronouns: he/him
Well.. Vuro is supposed to look like an Andorian as we see them in DISCO, I’m not sure if this comes across in my drawing. My headcanon for the different designs used for Andorians in TOS, ENT and DISCO is, that they are actually different andorian ethnicities. The Andorians from ENT are from the North of Andoria (because they look a lot like the Aenar and Aenar live in north andorian wastes). Andorians from DISCO are from south and/or middle Andoria. Vuro’s ancestors are from the south of Andoria, while his spouses are all from the North.
Vuro is the calm anchor of the bondgroup, he’s rather serious, reasonable and hard to provoke. Like Telpha, Vuro has a high interest in arts, his main interests are sculpting (with all kinds of materials), painting and poetry. All of these as a receiver, as well as a creating artist. He became pretty famous in the ice sculpting scene with his work and gets commissions from all over the Alpha quadrant. In the drawing, he’s wearing the coat he always wears while sculpting. He’s tall and muscular.
A sidenote regarding Vuro’s last name: In beta canon, the andorian word ‘tezha’ describes sexual intercourse between Andorians outside of the sexual union of the 4 bondmates (even if only 2 or 3 of the bond have sex with each other, but without the fourth, that would be called 'tezha’).
In Vuro’s (south-)andorian mothertongue, an R-sound isn’t pronounced if it’s following a voiced consonant (like the Z-sound), so his last name is pronounced pretty much the same as „tezha“.
In most other andorian languages (including the north-andorian language, which became the most common, widely used andorian language, and the one, that gets taught at most federational education centers) the R-sound after a voiced consonant is way more prominent.
So whenever Vuro introduces himself with his full name, speaker of other andorian languages might get a certain association. If these speakers are Andorians themselves, there is nothing ‘naughty’ about it, because sexuality is no taboo in andorian cultures. Thinking his name is „Mr. Intercourse“ is just as naughty for them as „Mr. Breakfast“ or „Mr. Spaceship“.
People, who speak Andorian, but are from cultural circles, in which sexuality is a taboo, might get a chuckle out of his name. Vuro doesn’t mind, quite the opposite – he’s sure, that this little misunderstanding made his name more rememberable for Non-andorians and helped him getting popular in the interstellar ice sculpting scene.
