Tualeh is tall, buff (she likes to workout!) and even more hot-headed than Rokiek. She’s dominant, proactive and gruff (only a lil bit if she likes you and knows you’re sensible. Not only gruff, but outright aggressive when it comes to people, she doesn’t like).
After Rokiek’s assimilation, Telpha and Vuro were devastated, but able to accept the fact, that there was absolutely nothing they could do to get their spouse back. Not Tualeh. She just ….sees that enormous wall of sadness and pain heading her way and starts running.
She does everything she can to convince Starfleet to go search and rescue her husband (and the other drones), but fails. The risk to lose even more lives to the Borg is too high, they say. That day, Starfleet’s status changed from “alright“ to „uncaring bunch of hypocritical cowards“ in Tualeh’s head.
Next strategy to avoid pain was, to replace the missing piece in the bond as fast as possible. No reason to be sad, as long as the bond is complete, right? So she has a ton of dates, trying to find the perfect Chan to fill the hole.
That behaviour makes it even worse for Vuro and Telpha, though they do understand, why she’s doing this. They try to bring Tualeh back to reason, but only provoke an even more irrational ‘strategy’. For Tualeh, it’s less frightening to hunt the Borg and fight them all on her own, than to give in to the pain of losing a loved one. Her plan is, to take a ferry from Andoria to the next Space Station to get herself a ship (either on a legal or an ….alternative way) to find the Borg and rescue her husband.
The attempt ends on the station. She was just about to buy a small space shuttle from two cardassian/bolian lovebirds, when suddenly two nausicaan hitmen interrupt their conversation and scare the sellers away (turns out they were after the lovebirds, because they betrayed their client). Tualeh, who has absolutely no capacity for bullshit (in general, but especially not now) beats the shit outta Nausicaa, killing one of them in the process. Starfleet Security arrives just in time to save the other hitman’s life, who tries to safe his own ass from prison by claiming, that Tualeh was the one, who attacked the poor innocent Nausicaans out of the blue (no andorian pun intended). Good thing, that the cardassian-bolian couple returns to tell the truth. Or.. at least the relevant parts of truth.
Bad thing though, that the local Security recognizes the couple as the wanted burglars Vanta and Soho. Not to mention that Soho is a hitman himself. All 4 of them end up in prison. But at least the testimony of Vanta and Soho shortens Tualeh’s sentence down to 2 years.
Now in prison, she has no other choice, but to face the truth. She breaks down during the first visit of Telpha and Vuro. And finally, the 3 of them are grieving together. ….Until Rokiek returns! Tualeh is still in prison, when her spouse comes back, and her former actions (especially her trying to replace him) make their reunion a bit awkward and complicated. But in the end, they manage to talk openly about everything that happened. Including lots of words and tears and love and support, because the 4 of them belong together and will never stop being important to each other.
Tualeh also gets along well with the denobulan guard Ombral. Well enough to rescue her, when the prison gets destroyed by an attack of Jem'Hadar. And guess who’s squeezing their butts last minute in the same shuttle as Tualeh and Ombral? The bolian Maevidal Vanta, the cardassian Kilkam Soho and that friggin Nausicaan!
Anyway, this bunch of killer weirdos
spends the war attacking Jem-Hadar from ambush, somehow they all
survive (the killer weirdos, not the Jem'Hadar. My dudes aren’t THAT
incompetent, ok) and reunite with their respective families as soon
as the dominion war is over.
