hey i might piss people off by saying this but i fucking wish the general population of tumblr would quit acting like everything has to be gay and if it’s not gay then it’s straight and nasty like do you have any idea how shitty and hurtful that is to trans people who are actually straight, and to bi people, pan people, ace people, and nonbinary people who aren’t gay and/or don’t identify as gay? please quit acting like gayness is the epitome of the queer community thanks

tumblr needs to knock off this gross worshipping of monosexism that’s becoming so trendy. I understand you’re sick of m/f romances because that’s all you ever saw in movies for the majority of your life and you want more same sex romances - I get that, I very honestly do.
but this kneejerk reaction you have to everything that’s “”“straight”“” not only accomplishes zilch, but is edging into some really nasty terfy territory where the most cardinal sin a person could commit here is being female or femme and being attracted to a man. bi and pan women deserve better than to be treated like they’ve been tainted for having been touched by male hands, which is the attitude that a lot of radfem lesbians have.
Hell, you’re tainted if you’re a masculine woman who’s attracted even slightly to men, too. It’s super gross.
